Dave Beres and his wife, Debbie purchased a small corner grocery store in Tillsonburg from Allan Goodlet in May of 1976.  The business has always been known for it's quality meats and good service.

As a young child, Dave remembers having company stop by on Sunday afternoon and Mom would immediately invite them to stay for dinner.  We loved to feed people and make them smile.  That tradition continues in our own home today as well as in our business.  We take pride in seeing a smile on a face after being served a great meal.

As well as selling to the public, they provided top quality fresh meat cuts to local caterers and restaurants.  In the late 90's, Dave was asked if he would support a catering business as a side to the fresh meat and deli items he sells year round.

Realizing all catered events center around quality meats, Dave had an advantage as he knew the origin of the meat, the proper grading requirements and how to serve it in the best possible manner.  Products are homemade and quality is never sacrificed.

Since that time, the catering division of the business has grown to nearly full time and all the while the store remains open to the general public to purchase the fine quality meats you have come to experience at catered events.

This independently owned family business has been operating for more than 32 years with no plans to retire anytime soon!
